Every year I take my eldest to see a show or Pantomime. Not only is it great fun, but it gives me a chance to spend quality time with just him and spoil him with snacks and over-sugary slushies (something that I very rarely do as I like all of us to practice making healthy choices).
This year was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, performed at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill, Surrey.
The cast was absolutely hilarious and incredibly talented, even bagging the fifth seasons BGT winner, Jai McDowall. Swoon~ Though attended predominantly for the joy of my nine year old, the adult jokes had me sniggering into my Sainsbury’s bought sushi. I will say that this particular rendition of the fairy tale is not for the easily offended and I actually joined in with a few ‘Oooooh that was bad’ sound effects from the older generation in the audience.
A fab show from start to finish, it even got me wondering about potentially getting my little girl involved in the local dance school which some of the ballet dancers attend. More on that later perhaps? They accept students from 18 months after all.
